This album was inspired by the timelessness of music, faith and friendship no matter what the distance. The two artists have been "across the waves" since just after the music was recorded in Vancouver in 1994 - stay tuned for further collaboration. SHARON VOGAN (CAWSTON) is a New Zealand pianist. She is particularly respected for her interpretations of Bach, Haydn, and Mozart, and also for her performance of contemporary NZ works.
She began piano lessons at an early age with her mother, a scholar at the Royal College of Music and student of Cyril Smith.
Sharon won most of New Zealand's piano competitions and invitations to perform throughout the country followed.
She studied at Canterbury University under well-respected New Zealand pianist Maurice Till, and graduated with First Class Honours and a Masters Prize for first place throughout the Fine Arts and Music faculties.
She won a QE2 Arts Scholarship for post-graduate study in the USA with renowned Hungarian pianist Bela Siki. During this time, she performed with the Orchestra of Barcelona, Spain by invitation of conductor Franz-Paul Decker, and with the Inland Empire Orchestra in California. She also recorded for CBC.
Teaching engagements included that of Piano Performance Tutor at the University of Auckland, the University’s Academy of Music, and the Corelli School of the Arts.

Isaac Bull began playing the bassoon at 13 and has been playing for over 30 years in the Vancouver Opera Orchestra and other orchestras and chamber music ensembles throughout British Columbia.
